Our Purpose:
Sixes UMC purpose statement is:
To build relationships with people in order to bring them to Jesus Christ and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, equip them for their ministry in the church and their life mission in the world, all while magnifying God.
Our Vision:
Our vision is to reach the Sixes community and beyond with a practical message of God's love and purpose. We have come into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and we simply want to share the love we've found. We understand there are many who have never been in a church or it has been a long time since they have. We want to make it easy for them to worship while also experiencing some of the historic traditions of the church. Our services are aimed to help all discover the love and grace of our Lord offering a safe place where people can worship, and observe the church, the people, and the message.
